Uncle Jason with Hair!!

For as long as I can remember, My Uncle Jason has had no hair at all! But just recently, I was looking at my Aunt Gina's blog and I came across this picture of Uncle Jason with actual hair!{I think?} Go here and scroll down to the post that's title says, 'Everybody Needs A little Triange Sometimes'!!!!

Sammy, Duncan, and . . . . . . . . . Sassy Frass!!

Yep, that's right, Mommy Holly got another cat!!! She is so cute too!! If you know what my cat Hunter looks like, she kind-of looks like that, but she has some calico in her too!! At first, Mommy Holly said her name was Callie {short for calico}, but when we got home, Callie was hissing at Duncan, so Papa said, " You sassy cat!", so Mommy Holly said,"that's what her name should be! Sassy, or better yet, Sassy Frass! That's what we used to call your mommy, Hollyn!" So we had Hollyn call Aunt Sara. She told her that Mommy Holly had gotten a new kitten and that we name it after her! So Aunt Sara said something like, "really, you named it Sara?!", and Hollyn said, "No, we named it Sassy!!". Aunt Sara just laughed!
Now Sammy is not really Mommy Holly and Papa's cat, he is just the neighbors cat, but he comes over for most of the day to play with Duncan. It is going to be interesting to watch Sammy and Sassy meet each-other, just because of the fact that Sammy likes to play rough with Duncan! Mommy Holly said that Duncan and Sassy are going to have team up on Sammy!!
Now I think that Sassy and Duncan should have kittens since neither of them are fixed and then when the kittens are old enough, she can give them away! Maybe Aunt Sara will get one because she said she wants a cat, but the only one she wants is Duncan {she knows that because she had to take care of him for 2 weeks}, but with Duncan being the the father and the kittens having his blood in them, they will be like Duncan, and then Aunt Sara will want one!

Photo Albums

My brother and I were looking at some photo albums that my mom has today and we found somethings in there that were very interesting!!! First off, some of these albums are from the 1970's and 80's, not saying that's old, but the generation of style back then was very funny, according to me! My mom had VERY {pause to soak in the moment} big hair {my dad did to, but it was more fluffy than big!} My moms pants were up to here ribs! Her shirts were all either long sleeved and fluffy like a male flamingo dancers get-up, or short-sleeved, short lengthed, tight shirts! My dad was wearing long sleeved, red plaid shirts, alot of other paid shirts, and pants I can't explain! In one picture, my mom was wearing a long sleeve denim thing, and on top of the denim thing was a short sleeve black jacket thing that had flowers on it!!!!! Now lets move up 2 decades . . . . . every one was still wearing things like that!!! My outfits were funny, yet cute because I was only 2 in all of the pictures! There was a Christmas picture of me, my mom and my dad when I was only 1, and we were all wearing red plaid. Then I looked down and noticed that Ridgedon was wearing the exact same pants as my dad in the photo!!! The style got better in the 20th centery, though there are still things I see today that I question . . . . . . . .

Yea, yea, yea, I met someone who has horses, yea!

Finally!!!!!! Yes, I have met a real live person who has real live horses, and a real live boarding stable! Her name is Ms. Joni Brown, she has an 11 year old daughter, and lots of horses! Her daughter competes in alot of horse shows and has won the Welsh Cobb National Champion award many times, she has also won the reserved champion many times too! I am not sure what kind of class she was in though. The daughter's name is Marrisa. When we were there this morning, she told us that she does lessons and that she could always use volunteers! At the moment, I don't think that I want to do lessons, but I defiantly would like to help out as much as possible! I just want to be around horses at the moment, and take care of them too! Grammy, she does not have any minis, but she does have a boarder who has a really small pony! I am just very excited right now, so excited that I have found my self a couple of times doing the Adiah dance, if you know what I mean. Oh, and by the way, Happy Birthday Adiah! Before we had met her in person, I had emailed Ms. Joni about some kittens she has, not about the horses. I was looking for a kitten for my grandma who wants 2 kittens. At the moment, Mommy Holly has one kitten. So while we were there today, a kitten walked up and Ms. Joni said that she was the last one. { I had forgotten all about the kittens!} We went on with our business, but when we got home, I called Mommy Holly about the kitten and she said that she wants me to call Ms. Joni about maybe coming out there tomorrow morning to get the kitten!! Yea, I possibly get to go out there again!!!!!

I dyed my hair Blonde and bought a horse online!!!!!!

No, I didn't really dye my hair blonde. According to Ms. Carrie Withrow{sorry if I spelled your name wrong}, I already am! But I really did buy a horse online! He is a Morgan {that's a breed, not a name}, he is the color bay, he is 12 years old, and he is a gelding! I am really excited! Finally, after all the waiting, it's payed off! Yeah right! I did not actually buy a horse. Sorry to have scared you mom . . . . and dad if your reading this, which you probably are because after mom sees the humor of this she is going to go and get you and tell you to read this . . . . . . . . . . told ya! I seriously wish I had bought a horse! I long for a horse even more every day as they go by! {very, very long sigh}
and the wait goes on . . . . . . . . . . . . .

The Mr. or Mrs. Duncanverse contest

I discovered yesterday that Mommy Holly's kitten {as of right now, Duncan} might not be a boy! So we had a Mrs.Duncanverse{Mrs.Universe} pageant yesterday to see what his name would be if he turned out to be a girl. The voters consisted of Mommy Holly, Papa Larry, Hollyn, Natalie, Ridge, and my self. In the beginning, we had 6 contestants { names } and each person had to choose 2. The names were Jade, Vannilla, Celadon { that is some language for green Mommy Holly informed me } , Bl`anke { in Spanish that means white}, Kay-Kay, and Kailey. I nominated # 1,2, and 4. Mommy Holly nominated #3 and 5, and Hollyn nominated #6. Once we had all the votes in, we discovered that we had a 3 way tie! The three Candidates were Jade, Vannilla, and Kay-Kay. Once every one voted again, only one time this round, we had a winner! The runner up to the Mrs. Ducanverse was . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Kay-Kay! So this leaves us with Mrs. Jade and Mrs. Vannilla. And the winner of the Mrs. Duncanverse pageant of 2008 is . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Mrs. Vannilla!!! I know what your thinking, Vannilla, for a black cat?! But that's the beauty of it! Mommy Holly informed me that if the cat turns out to be a girl, she is calling it Nilly.

This is for those of you out there who knew me when my love of horses really started

Do you remember when my Grammy Linda and Papa Jim first got their Quarter horses? Can you also remember that shortly after that I said, " I have now decided that I want a horse! I have also decided that my horse is going to be a mare, she is going to be a quarter horse, she is going to be black and her name is going to be Jasmine!" Can you remember those times . . . . . . . those were the times that I knew probably half of a one-thousandth of all the knowledge about horses. I still have alot to lean now, but that's not the point! To find ALL of those aspects in one horse is very difficult! Those were the days where I thought that I could re-name a horse that has already had a name for how ever many years, those were the days that I thought that I could handle and take care of a new born horse! These days I know alot more about horses, and I have found a new favorite color in a horse! I have recently discovered that I really love buckskin horses! I found that out because since we have moved, Natalie has changed her gymnastics gym. And every day as we are going to drop her off, we go by the big red barn that has a small herd of horse in the pasture right next to the road. In that small herd is a beautiful buckskin horse with a long, black mane and tail! So I have now decided that in all the years to come of me owning a horse { or horses} I would like to have a buckskin at some point of time. That does not mean that my first horse has to be a buckskin, any good horse will do good for that job!
