Guess what!?!?! We got a new puppy!!!!! I am SOOOO excited! She is a West Highland White Terrier {westie} and she is only 15 weeks old! Sorry, don't have any pictures right now, but I promise that I will get some on here soon! So yesterday, I had just gotten off of the bus and I was standing on the top of the driveway looking down. My mom and 2 sisters were standing at the bottom. All of a sudden, this little bitty white thing comes running out of the garage! I kind-of looked at it, then I said," What is that?!!" and mom said, "You've got to come and look at it to know!" So I ran the whole way down the drive way {and with a 2 inch binder, a text book, backpack, and my all-around binder, it's not that easy!}. Then my mom said, " . . and Aunt Sara has her sister, and she named her Rose." My mom wanted to name our puppie Gwen because they got lost in GlenRose, but 'Glen' is not that pretty, so she decided Gwen would do better. My dad and I did not like that name though! So we have been trying to think of names for her for 2 days now. Besides Carrina {my cat} and this new puppie, we have never had a hard time naming our animals. But our 2 newest pets have seem to have stared a "takes 2 days to name you" thing! So, back to the topic, after 2 days of thinking, my dad decided to finish it! He told us all to go into the office and he searched "Scottish Baby Names" {because westies are from Scotland} and we had decided on 3 names we liked. They were Nelly, Ansli {pronounced ane-s-ley}, and Tori. Then out of the blue, my mom said,"I wouldn't mind the name Mac." She said that because earlier, I had said the name Mac or Macey {sounds like Makey} because since we were thinking of Scottish names, and I knew that McRae {my mom's maiden name} was Scottish, I took the "Mc" part of that and formed Mac. Then my dad said " . . . or Macie Rae!" So, long story short, our new puppy's name is Macie Rae, but the Macie part sounds like "Makey"! Though we will call her Mac or Macie for short.
And Aunt Sara, we also found out that Rose is a Scottish name too!
I would also like to add 2 things to this for no good reason! Number 1: Noah likes to call his dogs something that is kind of like their actual name, so Rose's "Noah revised" name is . . . . . . Roser. And Gracie's {Aunt Sara's other dog} "Noah revised" name is . . . . Gracie Girl. And I'm not kidding, he really calls them that! Number 2: We could not name our puppie {not that we wanted to} Maggie because Mommy Holly has already called that name for if she ever gets a westie puppie one day {she has wanted one for a while}. My mom also said that Mommy Holly said that if she were to get a male dog, he could be the stud! Hey mom, I didn't know you possibly {notice I said possibly} wanted to breed the puppies! Hhhmmmmmmmmmm . . . . . .
